Earth:
Grounding and Safety
- Take a moment to bring your awareness to the present moment.
- Place both feet flat on the ground and press them firmly into the floor.
- Wiggle your toes and feel the sensation of connection to the ground beneath you.
- Remind yourself that the Earth is supporting you, holding you steady.
Air:
Breathing for Centering
- Place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.
- Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 3, allowing your belly to expand (not your chest).
- Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 5, feeling your belly deflate.
- Repeat several times and notice how the air you breathe centers and calms you.
Water:
Relaxation Through Swallowing
- Take a sip of water or imagine swallowing.
- Notice how the water flows into your body, refreshing and soothing you.
