Supporting Neurodiversity

Counselling for Cognitive Differences

Neurodiversity encompasses a broad spectrum of cognitive abilities that differ from the experiences of most people. It includes conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Tourette syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and dyslexia. Neurodiversity also extends to conditions that may develop later in life, such as Alzheimer's or memory loss.

Living with neurodiversity can present unique challenges, including frustration, loneliness, and isolation. Traditional communication techniques and learning methods may not always be effective, making it difficult to find the support and resources needed to thrive.

Neurodiversity is a spectrum of cognitive abilities that is different from what most of the population experiences.

It includes conditions such as Autism Spectrum, Tourette syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and dyslexia.

It can also include conditions that develop later in life, such as Alzheimer's or memory loss.

Counselling provides connection and care to those who may experience frustration, loneliness, and isolation due to their differences. Being on a spectrum of neurodiversity can be challenging because it requires different communication techniques and different learning methods. It can be hard to find the resources in our lives to support these needs.

Counselling helps you recognize your strengths and unique talents, building your confidence and self-acceptance through a safe and non-judgmental environment. Helping you to explore and embrace your own thinking style.
